AL MARTIN
Al Martin is the host of WKAR’s “Current Sports”, the weekly TV show and daily radio call-in program from WKAR in East Lansing, MI.
Throughout his career he has covered the World Series, an NCAA men’s basketball Final Four, the Rose Bowl, countless Big Ten Championship games, and so much more. He has interviewed and covered coaches and athletes like Ervin “Magic” Johnson, Steve Smith, Kirk Cousins, Tony Dungy, and Tom Izzo.
With his relaxed, warm personality, Martin has become a fixture in the state of Michigan as a sports broadcaster and reporter. His show is fun, presenting topics that anyone can relate to.
